Frank Gehry

Frank Gehry

Frank Gehry was born in Toronto. He studied at the University of Southern California and urban planning at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
He has always been more of an artist than a traditional architect. He created beauty by juxtaposing ordinary materials. His early furniture was made of cardboard rolls inspired by the discards of architectural models. Critics attacked him, with the excuse that his buildings lack of classical proportions, disagreed about the clashing color schemes, and grandiose proportions.
His ultimate ideas happened led to some of the most spectacular and innovative buildings in the world.
Gehry's unique vision has brought him numerous honors. With his original and controversial vision, he continues to take creative risks and to transcend the boundaries of architecture.
